Privacy policy

This policy covers arcacedro.com and the Snag Report Pro Android app. ArcaCedro is run from the United Arab Emirates. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Your name, email address and company, to sign you in and show who did what.
• What you record: snags, their text, photos, locations, due dates and history, and the reports you send.
• A map pin for a report, only when you tap “Use my location”.
• Basic technical information when the app has a problem, to fix it.
• If you ask to become a tester: your name, email, company, role and, if you give them, your phone number and note, only to answer your request.

Why

Only to run the service for you and your company: syncing snags to your project team, sending the reports and links you ask for, and keeping your account secure.

What we do not do

• No advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.

Where it is kept and who sees it

• On your phone, and on ArcaCedro’s own servers in the UAE for reports linked to a project.
• People in your company with access to the project see its snags. A subcontractor sees only the snags on a link you send them.
• Emails such as report emails and invitations are delivered through a trusted email delivery service.
• Reports you keep only on your phone (not linked to a project) are not sent to our servers.

How long we keep it

• As long as your account is active, or until you or your company delete it.
• A tester request stays with your account if it is approved. To have a request removed, write to [email protected].
• Nightly backups are kept for 14 days. Backups taken before a system change are kept for up to 90 days.

Your choices

• Delete snags and reports in the app at any time.
• Ask for your account to be deleted: see Delete your account.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or to correct it, at [email protected].
